BBC Studios, the commercial arm of the BBC, and Delta Air Lines today announced a new partnership that brings the live, 24-7 BBC News channel to passengers on Delta’s fleet of domestic aircraft for the first time. The deal unlocks access to the BBC’s world-class programming and deliver up-to-the-minute breaking news for Delta passengers flying in the U.S. on aircraft equipped with live satellite TV.

Additionally, audiences will be able to find popular BBC programs, including World News America, Influential with Katty Kay, Business Today, NYSE – Opening Bell and The Travel Show.
As part of its expansion in North America, the BBC recently re-launched its website and mobile app to make it easier for global audiences outside of the U.K. to discover and navigate the best of the BBC’s global journalism and storytelling. The BBC News channel, which has invested to deliver more hours of U.S. primetime programming with a refreshed line-up out of its Washington D.C. hub, has more than doubled its reach following the launch of the BBC News FAST channel, a 24-7 live feed available on a variety of leading CTV/FAST platforms including, Pluto TV, Samsung TV Plus, Xumo Play, VIZIO WatchFree+, Sling Freestream, and Plex. The BBC News channel is also available on all major cable providers and as a livestream on BBC.com.
